Zodiac: Bay Area Killings and Fincher's Film

Zodiac (2007) is set around the San Francisco Bay Area, from Vallejo and Lake Berryessa to Presidio Heights and the San Francisco Chronicle. The film follows the real Zodiac Killer case. This route walks five places from the film in story order, from the July 1969 attack at Blue Rock Springs Park to the police hunt. Several scenes were shot in Los Angeles, which is noted where it matters.

『薔薇の名前』――修道院を探して

1327年、フランシスコ会の探偵役の修道士と若い見習いが北イタリアのベネディクト会修道院を訪れ、やがて修道士たちが次々に死んでいく。ウンベルト・エーコが描いた修道院は架空のものだが、実在の場所を寄せ集めて作られている。ジャン＝ジャック・アノー監督の1986年の映画は、セットとドイツの修道院を使って、また別の修道院を築き上げた。このルートは、サクラ・ディ・サン・ミケーレからモワサックの扉口まで、原作が借りた場所をたどり、続いて映画で修道院を演じた場所を訪ねる。原作のモデルとして置いたピンは伝統的な比定に基づくもので、小説に名前の出てくる場所ではない。
