  1. Home and Away is set in Summer Bay, "a fictional seaside town in New South Wales", and Palm Beach has played that town since the show began in 1988. In 2009 the mayor of Pittwater Council presented cast members with the key to Palm Beach. Today tours of the show's exterior sets run throughout the year. Palm Beach is also the northernmost beach in Greater Sydney, so it is a natural place to start.

  3. The Summer Bay House and Caravan Park are not at the beach at all. The Jackeroo Ranch estate in Kenthurst has hosted their exteriors since 1988. After a bushfire destroyed both sets in December 2002, the house was rebuilt in its original location, with a grey roof instead of a red one. It is the only house still seen on screen since the pilot episode.

Amores perros: Mexico City Crossroads

Amores perros (2000) is set in Mexico City, and its famous car crash was filmed at Juan Escutia and Atlixco in Colonia Condesa. Other scenes tie to Tetepilco, the Panteón Alemán area, Paseo de la Reforma and the Taxqueña bus terminal. This route follows Octavio's story and the crash that links three lives, from his family home to the dogfights, El Chivo's hit, the collision and a bus station where nobody arrives. The house and dogfight stops are private homes, so their pins mark only the area.

My Love from the Star: Filming Locations from Seoul to Incheon

My Love from the Star (2013), the Korean drama about an alien stranded on Earth since 1609, was filmed at N Seoul Tower, Petite France in Gapyeong, Incheon National University and the Korean Folk Village. Do Min-joon landed in Korea during the Joseon period in 1609 and, four centuries later, falls for Cheon Song-yi. This route follows six places linked to the story, from the 1609 landing to the Petite France kiss. Only some of the exact scene spots are named in public sources, so two stops are approximate.

Our Blues: Jeju Island Filming Locations

Our Blues, the 2022 TV drama, is set on Jeju Island and was shot at real spots such as Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market, Seongsan port, Goseong market and Gapado island. The series follows ordinary people at the start or end of life, in omnibus stories. This route visits six places where those scenes were filmed, from fish markets and a harbour auction to an island picnic, a beach and a coast road. Some places are named only by area, and the show's Pureung village is made up.
