The Gospels name many places but rarely fix a spot, so most stops here rest on tradition. Each is labelled as exact, approximate or speculative, with what archaeology can and cannot show.
Tintin's Brussels is the Marolles flea market where he buys the Unicorn, the Etterbeek street where Hergé was born, and the museums that keep his work: the Belgian Comic Strip Center, the Hergé Museum in Louvain-la-Neuve and the Moon rocket at Brussels Airport.
Hergé was born in Brussels, and the city shows up in his books and in the places that celebrate them. This route follows five real places from his birth in 1907 to the Tintin sights you can visit today.
The Unicorn flea-market scene is set in the Marolles; other stops are Tintin landmarks rather than story scenes.

This route follows seven places where the crime series was set or filmed, from the police headquarters in Rosenheim's town hall to villas near Lake Starnberg. Several stops are marked by area, because the sources name the place but not the exact spot.

Wyatt Earp's lawman years run from the cattle towns of Wichita and Dodge City, Kansas, to Tombstone, Arizona, where the gunfight at the O.K. Corral took place in 1881.
Earp wore a badge in Kansas, then followed his brothers to a silver boomtown. This route follows him from his first police job to the shootout, his brother Morgan's murder and the vendetta ride through Tucson, ending at his grave in Colma, California.
The real gunfight was not at the corral at all, and the stops say where it actually happened.

This route follows the story from the police station to the final chase across a rooftop, and shows which real downtown and Los Feliz landmarks stood in for the future. Most sets were dressed heavily for the camera, so expect the buildings, not the neon.

The route visits Orchard House and The Wayside, where the Alcott family lived and acted out scenes later used in the book, then follows the story abroad: a Washington hospital, the Promenade des Anglais in Nice and Chillon on Lake Geneva. The Concord stops are the real houses behind the March family's home.
