The Underground Railroad: From Maryland to Canada

The Underground Railroad's northern routes ran from Maryland's Eastern Shore through Wilmington and the Ohio River towns to Niagara Falls and Dresden, Ontario. This route follows seven real places linked to it, from Harriet Tubman's escape to the Dawn settlement. It joins Harriet Tubman's park in Maryland, Thomas Garrett's Wilmington, the Rankin and Levi Coffin houses, the Freedom Center in Cincinnati, the Niagara bridge and the Dawn settlement. The stops follow the geography, not one person's single journey.

KPop Demon Hunters is set in Seoul, and several real places appear on screen: Seoul Olympic Stadium in the opening scene, Jayang Station on Line 7, Namsan Seoul Tower, Naksan Park and Bukchon Hanok Village. Jeepers Creepers: Filming Locations in Florida

Jeepers Creepers was filmed around Ocala in northern Florida in 2000, with its road scenes shot on SW 180th Avenue Road near Dunnellon. The church, diner, police station and factory were spread across Ocala, Lake Panasoffkee and Reddick. Need for Speed: The Run — San Francisco to New York

Need for Speed: The Run races across the United States, from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco through Death Valley, Las Vegas, Denver and Chicago to Times Square in New York. The racing game is an illegal street race from San Francisco to New York City with the Mob and the police in pursuit. Wikipedia records two plots: the Black Box version, starring street racer Jack Rourke, and a Firebrand version, starring a former pro racer called Matt. Most scenes here come from the Firebrand version; each stop says which. The roads are real, but scenes are not tied to exact spots, so most pins mark the city or region. Spoiler notice: the last stop reveals the ending.

Other routes cover Overwatch maps in the Americas and in Africa and Asia. Pins mark a real model place or landmark, not a copied district.

Jane Austen: Steventon to Winchester

Jane Austen's life ran through four places in southern England: the Hampshire village of Steventon, the spa city of Bath, the cottage at Chawton and, at the end, Winchester Cathedral. Bath's Pump Room and Assembly Rooms also appear in her novels Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. The route follows her from the rectory where she grew up in 1775 to her grave in 1817. The Steventon rectory is gone, so that pin is approximate; the other four places can all be visited today.

Inspector Montalbano: Vigàta in Ragusa

Inspector Montalbano is set in the fictional town of Vigàta, based on Camilleri's native Porto Empedocle, but the series is largely filmed in the province of Ragusa: Scicli's town hall, the beach at Punta Secca, the ruined Fornace Penna and Ragusa Ibla. This route follows six filming locations, from Montalbano's offices and home to Donnafugata Castle and the Guerrieri Viaduct in Modica. Camilleri set his books in a fictionalised province of Agrigento, so these are screen stand-ins, not the novels' own places.
