What do the location labels mean?
Exact
The pin marks the actual place where it happened or was filmed.
Approximate
The right area — a town, park or district — but not a precise spot.
  1. Ilya and Shane first meet outside the McMaster Burridge Gym in the opening of the episode "Rookies". The series follows two professional hockey players on rival fictional Major League Hockey teams who keep a secret relationship going for years. This is where it starts. The campus is in Hamilton, which is the main filming hub of the series.

Location precision: The pin marks McMaster University; the exact gym entrance is not pinned.

  2. Hamilton's Dundurn Castle stands in for Moscow in a jogging scene with Ilya in the episode "Olympians". The real building is a Regency house completed in 1835 by architect Robert Charles Wetherell.

  3. Every hockey scene was shot here: locker rooms, ice and stands. The rink doubles as the home ice for three fictional professional teams. Real hockey players filled out the rosters, with body doubles for the leads in close-ups. The arena seats 4,715 and is home to the Guelph Storm in real life.

  4. Montreal is the home city of the Metros, and Windsor Station is one of the landmarks used in establishing shots. The building was the Canadian Pacific Railway's Montreal station and its headquarters from 1889 to 1996. Today it is an office building, bordered on the west by the Bell Centre.

  5. The geodesic Biosphere on Parc Jean-Drapeau also appears in Montreal establishing shots. It is a museum dedicated to the environment, housed in the former United States pavilion built for Expo 67.

  6. The first-season finale was filmed in Muskoka, in Ontario. The episode "The Cottage" was shot during the final two days of production, so the cottage story was among the last things the cast shot.

Location precision: The sources name the Muskoka area, not a specific cottage; the pin marks the Muskoka Lakes municipality.

KPop Demon Hunters: Real Seoul Locations

KPop Demon Hunters is set in Seoul, and several real places appear on screen: Seoul Olympic Stadium in the opening scene, Jayang Station on Line 7, Namsan Seoul Tower, Naksan Park and Bukchon Hanok Village. It is an animated film, so these are places it shows rather than filming sites. The route follows five of them, with what each is like to visit today.

Bluey: Brisbane and Its Queenslander Houses

Bluey is set in Brisbane, Queensland: the show draws on Queen Street Mall, South Bank and the city's Queenslander houses, with a trip to the Big Pelican on the Noosa River. The route follows the series from Ludo Studio in Fortitude Valley to the real places it draws, ending at Bluey's World in Hamilton. The Heeler house is fictional, so it is not pinned.

Blade Runner: Los Angeles 2019 Filming Locations

Blade Runner's 2019 Los Angeles was filmed at the Bradbury Building, the Ennis House, Union Station, the 2nd Street Tunnel and a Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank. Ridley Scott's 1982 film follows Rick Deckard as he hunts four replicants through a rainswept, neon-lit city. This route follows the story from the police station to the final chase across a rooftop, and shows which real downtown and Los Feliz landmarks stood in for the future. Most sets were dressed heavily for the camera, so expect the buildings, not the neon.
