  1. Annie arrives in Blairstown on her way to a job at summer camp and is warned that Camp Crystal Lake has a death curse. She walks Main Street under the stone arches that still stand, past the Historic Blairstown Theater, also called Roy's Hall. Built in 1913 as a silent movie house, it appears shortly after the opening credits; restored and painted blue in 2005, it now hosts live music and classic films. In 2007 the film returned for a screening on Main Street, in that same theater.

  2. Hartung's General Store appears in the film, and its building is now Hope Junction Antiques in the heart of Hope. The shop keeps the old luncheonette signs in its windows and fills the space with vintage pieces and antique furniture. The storefront still faces the village street.

Para el visitante: Hope Junction Antiques is at 331 High Street in Hope, in the village centre.

  3. Annie's lift leaves her in front of Hope Moravian Cemetery, a graveyard on Delaware Road just west of Blairstown Road, about six miles south of Blairstown. Hope Township appears in two scenes of the film, and this is one of them. It is an ominous drop-off for someone heading to Camp Crystal Lake: the warning about a death curse has already been given, and the camp is still ahead.

  4. Camp Crystal Lake is Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, a Boy Scout camp at 11 Sand Pond Road in Hardwick, about six miles north of Blairstown. The Jeep carrying Annie passes the entrance before she leaps out and runs into the woods. More than 80% of the film was shot here in 1979, and the camp has been running since 1927. It remains private property, closed to visitors outside official tour dates; Crystal Lake Tours has led fans around the site since 2011.

  5. Steve Christy, the camp's owner, spends the evening at the Blairstown Diner while his counselors are killed one by one. The diner on Route 94, just west of Blairstown, is one of the film's few locations you can visit today. Scenes were shot here in 1979, and the building still operates as a roadside diner. Steve leaves, returns to camp and is stabbed at the entrance, so this is the last calm stop before the night closes in.

  6. Sand Pond is the lake where young Jason drowned, and the water at the centre of the film's final act. Mrs. Voorhees confronts Alice on the lakeshore; Alice fights free, decapitates her with a machete, then pushes a canoe onto the lake and falls asleep. At dawn Jason's decomposing corpse rises from the water and pulls her under — the jump scare that ends the film. The pond lies at the foot of the Kittatinny Ridge, on the camp's private grounds, so only official tours go there.

JoJo: Diamond Is Unbreakable — Sendai como Morioh
