Wyatt Earp: From Dodge City to Tombstone

Wyatt Earp's lawman years run from the cattle towns of Wichita and Dodge City, Kansas, to Tombstone, Arizona, where the gunfight at the O.K. Corral took place in 1881. Earp wore a badge in Kansas, then followed his brothers to a silver boomtown. This route follows him from his first police job to the shootout, his brother Morgan's murder and the vendetta ride through Tucson, ending at his grave in Colma, California. The real gunfight was not at the corral at all, and the stops say where it actually happened.

Spartacus: The Slave Revolt of 73–71 BC

The Spartacus revolt began at a gladiator school in Capua, climbed Mount Vesuvius, ran south to the Strait of Messina and ended on the Sele River in 71 BC. It was the Third Servile War, the largest slave uprising Rome ever faced. The route follows the rebellion in order: the breakout of 73 BC, the siege on Vesuvius, the failed attempt to cross to Sicily, the last battle against Crassus and the crucifixions along the Appian Way. Ancient sources were written a century or more later and disagree in places, so the exact spots of the school and the battlefield are approximate.

Heart of Darkness is set in the Congo Free State, a Belgian company's territory, and this route follows Marlow from Brussels to Boma, Matadi, the Livingstone Falls rapids and Kinshasa, then on to Kurtz's station upriver. Conrad's novella names almost none of its places, so most stops are marked as likely identifications, drawn from Conrad's own job on the Congo River.

Sirāt (2025): Filming Locations in Morocco and Spain

Sirāt, Óliver Laxe's 2025 road film, is set in southern Morocco but opens at a Spanish rave: the Rambla de Barrachina near Teruel stands in for the desert, while the mountain road, the white sand and the train were shot near Errachidia and Erfoud. The route follows the father Luis and his son Esteban as they chase a missing daughter and join a convoy of ravers. Each stop is a place in the film's region, not a precise pin: the director names the area, rarely the exact spot.

KPop Demon Hunters is set in Seoul, and several real places appear on screen: Seoul Olympic Stadium in the opening scene, Jayang Station on Line 7, Namsan Seoul Tower, Naksan Park and Bukchon Hanok Village. Blade Runner: Los Angeles 2019 Filming Locations

Blade Runner's 2019 Los Angeles was filmed at the Bradbury Building, the Ennis House, Union Station, the 2nd Street Tunnel and a Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank. Ridley Scott's 1982 film follows Rick Deckard as he hunts four replicants through a rainswept, neon-lit city. This route follows the story from the police station to the final chase across a rooftop, and shows which real downtown and Los Feliz landmarks stood in for the future. Most sets were dressed heavily for the camera, so expect the buildings, not the neon.
