Cronología y lugares

¿Qué significan las etiquetas de los lugares?
Exacto
  1. The film opens in August 1945 with Logan held in a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp near Nagasaki. When the atomic bomb falls, he shields an officer named Ichirō Yashida from the blast, the debt that drags him to Japan decades later. None of it was shot in Japan: the camp was built at Bonna Point Reserve in Kurnell, on the south side of Botany Bay near Sydney, and the earliest scenes were filmed there.

Precisión del lugar: The camp is a film set in Australia; no pin is given because the dossier has no verified coordinates for the reserve.

  2. Yashida dies, and his funeral is where the Yakuza try to kidnap his granddaughter Mariko; Logan and Mariko escape together into the sprawl of Tokyo. The temple shown is Zojo-ji, in the shadow of the red and white Tokyo Tower. In real history it was the Tokugawa family temple, and six of the 15 Tokugawa shoguns are buried there. The fight in the temple grounds was staged at Sydney's Chinese Garden of Friendship.

  3. Logan is shot, his wounds slow to heal, and he fights off more Yakuza on a bullet train. He and Mariko get off at Fukuyama Station in Hiroshima Prefecture. The production filmed outside the station on 4 September 2012. The station opened on 11 September 1891 and sits next to the main courtyard of Fukuyama Castle.

  4. After the bullet-train fight, Logan and Mariko hide in a local love hotel. The building used is not a hotel at all but the Nakagin Capsule Tower in Ginza, a block of detachable pods designed in 1972 by architect Kisho Kurokawa. Demolition began on 12 April 2022, so the tower can no longer be visited.

  5. Logan and Mariko travel to Yashida's house in Nagasaki, and the two fall in love. On screen it is the fishing port of Tomonoura in the Ichichi ward of Fukuyama, where filming concluded on 11 September 2012. The port was once nicknamed Shio machi minato, "port of waiting for tides".
