Pearl Harbor and Midway: From 7 December 1941 to June 1942

Pearl Harbor and Midway tell the Pacific war's first six months: the Japanese attack on Battleship Row and the USS Arizona Memorial in Hawaii on 7 December 1941, then the naval battle at Midway Atoll in June 1942 that sank four Japanese carriers. The route runs from Ford Island and Hickam Field to the codebreakers of Station HYPO, the fighting at Midway and the wreck of USS Yorktown on the seabed. Pearl Harbor stops can be visited; Midway Atoll is remote and the Yorktown wreck lies on the deep seabed.

Sirāt (2025): Filming Locations in Morocco and Spain

Sirāt, Óliver Laxe's 2025 road film, is set in southern Morocco but opens at a Spanish rave: the Rambla de Barrachina near Teruel stands in for the desert, while the mountain road, the white sand and the train were shot near Errachidia and Erfoud. The route follows the father Luis and his son Esteban as they chase a missing daughter and join a convoy of ravers. Each stop is a place in the film's region, not a precise pin: the director names the area, rarely the exact spot.

Jeepers Creepers: Filming Locations in Florida

Jeepers Creepers was filmed around Ocala in northern Florida in 2000, with its road scenes shot on SW 180th Avenue Road near Dunnellon. The church, diner, police station and factory were spread across Ocala, Lake Panasoffkee and Reddick. The route follows Trish and Darry from the country road to the church, the diner, the station and the finale. Several of the sites are gone or changed, so the pins are approximate.

Zombieland: Georgia on the Run

Zombieland (2009) is set across America, from Texas to Los Angeles, but it was shot almost entirely in Georgia: downtown Atlanta, Powder Springs, Decatur, Newnan and the Wild Adventures theme park in Valdosta, with a few days in Hollywood. The route follows Columbus and Tallahassee in story order, from the first streets of chaos to the Pacific Playland finale. Three stops follow the author: his birthplace, the Oxford house where he wrote every Narnia book, and the pub where he handed round the proofs of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Three follow the cameras, one for each film. Film sites are marked as the places where scenes were shot, not as Narnia itself.

Good Bye, Lenin!: East Berlin

Good Bye, Lenin! is set in East Berlin and shot largely on Karl-Marx-Allee and around Alexanderplatz, where Alex hides the fall of East Germany from his coma-waking mother. The route follows the plot through five places: the Kerners' flat on Berolinastraße, Alexanderplatz, the former Coca-Cola headquarters in Lichterfelde, Karl-Marx-Allee and the dacha in Finsterwalde. The flat's interiors were studio sets, so that pin is approximate.
